Motor Cycle Friendly

WOOF......WOOF..................not only are we dog friendly.................we are also Motor Cycle friendly and have no problems if motor bikes want to bring their owners along as well.....we will feed them a big Scottish breakfast in the morning, before papping them out

So if you are doing a Motor Cycle tour of the Highlands of Scotland and are dropping off at Loch Ness, then chap the door....its a friendly welcome with lots of friendly barking....but keep your mits off of ma grub...........

If you are a Motor Cycle that has a baldie owner..dont be embarassed....I offer a free head sitting service at breakfast..well am just a wee dug so ah am...........Renegade Riki.......WOOF.....WOOF....Grrrrrrrrr

Criagmonie Cottage (situated in West Lewiston, Drumnadrochit) is a hundred year old detached villa which has been converted into a very comfortable home from home in the highlands. Our three bedrooms are spacious, bright, tastefully decorated and offer flexible accommodation options ranging from twin/double/family rooms. Each room has en-suite facilities and is equipped with flat screen TV/DVD (small selection of DVD's are available), free sat stations, hairdryers, beverage trays and free wi-fi internet access is available. Off road car parking is available.

We offer breakfast options from full Scottish, Scrambled Eggs & Smoked Salmon or the lighter choice of fresh fruit, ham etc. The following are just some of the products we use to ensure that your first meal of the day is an enjoyable, hearty one: local free range eggs, Black Isle Organic bread, award winning Stornoway Black Pudding, breakfast sausages from Perthshire and last but not least our own homemade raspberry jam & marmalade.

For walkers we are a mere 100 metres from the Great Glen Way and for all visitors we are opposite the Loch Ness Inn (open all year) which after a days walking is a very welcome port of call with good food and drink on offer whilst relaxing in friendly surroundings in the warmth of the wood burning stove what better way to round off the day! Or venture a little further into the village to the family run Fiddler's Highland Restaurant (voted "Scotlands best Malt Whisky Bar" for the last 3 years in a row!) Along with a selection of fine ales and not to mention over 600 Malt Whiskies the bill of fayre here is full of items from the National Larder topped with a warm friendly welcome and a promise to look after you makes it an experience not to miss. (don't worry about getting there we can organise transport by prior arrangement).
